1 Which football team has a couple of chess pieces missing?

Answer QPR

2 Magnus Carlssen v Fabiano Caruana Game 17/1/16

Magnus opened 1 g3, the first time he has played this move in a classical game.
Can you guess Fabiano's reply and both players second and third moves ?
Clues - Black adopts a copycat approach. White's second move usually follows his first. The hardest move in the sequence to find is White's third.
Bonus points. Why did Magnus employ this unusual opening? What was the outcome?

Answer 1 g3 was met by 1 ...g6.   2  Bg2   was met by   ...Bg7.   The third move  3 e4  was met by ... e5
I describe this as hard to find, because  1 g3 is often played by d4 rather than e4 players.
Magnus played this to avoid computer preparation, but Fabiano found a system to neutralise this and the game was drawn.
