Notts trounced Warwickshire by 12.5-3.5 in the
Minor Counties Championship at Bramcote winning nine and drawing seven of the
games. The Ashfield players Derek Jarvis, Geoff Gibson and Steve Burke all
won their games. This means that Notts progress to the national stages having
scored 5/6 with one match to play.
