Breadsall had a disappointing League campaign 2015-16, unable to mount a challenge for the League title, finishing in mid-table on 15 points from 14 games.

The club did though win the League Cup with ac 3-1 win over Derby A, after defeating Chesterfield A 3.5- 0.5 in the Semi-final. These 2 clear wins were the only games the club was able to field their 2 Big Guns together, Paul Madden and John Molyneux.

Paul Madden successfully retained the Individual County title, taking his tally to 13.

Breadsall signed off the season by winning the DCA Chess Jamboree Quickplay event with an impressive 12.5/16, achieved without John or Derek. The club will be looking to transfer  their Cup and Special Events form into a stronger League challenge next season.
