The visitors prevailed on the top 2 boards as Jon Tait, ECF 216 and Jim Burnett, ECF 197 defeated Steve Burke and Derek Jarvis. The other 3 games were close. Andrew Toothill, Neil Graham and myself claimed draws, but we we were unable to stage a fight-back.
