There were good draws for Neil on top board and Ray, but we weren't able to contain the runaway Gambit X train and their powerful middle order of  experienced Division 1 players and a strong League newcomer on Board 2. Our third team now face the relegation battle that was always expected this season. Hopefully we can still defy the visiting captain's confident pre-season prediction that A3 will finish last in Division 2.
